System volume information won't defrag. System tools > Disc clean > More options
This removes old restore points and old shadow copies.
MUST BE LAST PROCEDURE AS THIS DELETES RESTORE POINTS
Uninstall Google Chrome and reinstall  - Chrome Download
Synchronizing Internet Time Server - Date & Time Properties > Internet Time
Select: time.windows.com
Mixed Up Icons
Open a Command Prompt and type this in:
"sfc /verifyfile=%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll" (Without quotation marks)
Assuming there are no errors type this:
"regsvr32 /i shell32.dll"
Reboot and see what that does.
Another thing that oddly works sometimes, change your desktop to 16bit colour, reboot then set back to 32bit colour.

To run the Memory Diagnostics Tool manually

If the Windows Memory Diagnostics tool doesn't run automatically, you can run it manually.

Open Memory Diagnostics Tool by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type Memory, and then click Diagnose your computer's memory problems.‌ Administrator permission required If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
